Related Disorders
Other disorders that are associated with and may be intensified by an eating disorder
include: Major Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (due to the history of
sexual abuse), and Depersonalization Disorder. These conditions, in conjunction
with an eating disorder, increase the necessity for an intensive treatment experience
which is individual and multi-disciplinary in approach.
