Our Promise

At Rader Programs we want those millions of individuals suffering from eating disorders like Anorexia, Bulimia or Compulsive Overeating to know three vital facts: It’s not your fault; You are not alone; We can help.

We understand how your lives are controlled by food and that gaining or losing weight has become the focus of your existence. We are familiar with the guilt, isolation, depression and shame that you endure. Whether the behavior is compulsive overeating, binge purging, or self-starvation, there’s one thing in common - you are suffering from an eating disorder which can be fatal if left untreated.

With professional support, lifelong recovery and freedom from an eating disorder can be achieved. The key to recovery is to understand the cause of the self-destructive behavior and to acquire the tools to facilitate the necessary changes. This is the core of the Rader Programs' philosophy.

We believe that eating disorders like Anorexia, Bulimia and Compulsive Overeating develop as a survival mechanism to help individuals cope with life. For this reason, we not only address the mistaken beliefs underlying eating disorders but also teach each individual new, positive coping techniques to handle life's situations.

Rader Programs is different from most other treatment programs for Anorexia, Bulimia or Compulsive Overeating. Other eating disorder programs typically employ a reward and punishment system. We do not. Why? Because such systems are ineffective. Individuals with eating disorders like Anorexia, Bulimia and Compulsive Overeating have already spent enough time punishing themselves. Rader Programs' approach focuses on the individual. All aspects of the individual's life are explored and addressed in a supportive environment. We do not concentrate solely on the symptoms of the eating disorders, or emphasize dieting. Instead, individual, family, and group counseling, as well as nutritional guidance, exercise training, and educational sessions are all combined to create the path toward recovery.

Who We Treat

Rader Programs provide services to individuals suffering from an eating disorder in accordance with their identified clinical needs. We believe individuals should be treated, whenever possible, within the least restrictive environment.

To achieve this goal, our interdisciplinary staff specialized in eating disorders treatment for Anorexia, Bulimia and Compulsive Overeating is dedicated to helping you design the eating disorder treatment that works best for your life.  We offer a variety of programs tailored to your individual needs that will enable you to take control of your life.

Our inpatient eating disorder facility accommodates patients with 24-hour care and an interdisciplinary staff specialized in eating disorder treatment.

Our daycare sessions cater to patients who can function within their usual home environment but are looking for a structured daily program for eating disorder treatment.

The continuing care program offers professionally supervised care to patients who have progressed through inpatient or daycare and need a little extra help structuring their new, healthier lifestyle.

The outpatient facility allows minimal disruption to daily life, using one nightly meeting a week to provide additional support to those integrating an eating disorder treatment plan for Anorexia, Bulimia or Compulsive Overeating into their lives beyond the clinic.

Our family program also assists patients in restructuring and maintaining strong family relationships through weekend sessions with significant others.

Let Rader Programs provide you with the tools you need for a complete eating disorders treatment plan and full recovery.

Admission Process

The treatment staff at Rader Eating Disorder Programs has been providing high-quality clinical programs for over 20 years. We specialize in the treatment of eating and related disorders.  Our mission is to help save the lives of those suffering from eating disorders such as Anorexia, Bulimia or Compulsive Overeating.

The primary purpose of Rader Eating Disorder Programs is to treat the dysfunctional behavior in a supportive environment.  We recognize the complexity of eating disorders and understand the associated medical, psychological, physical, and nutritional aspects of the disorders.  Our treatment staff of caring and experienced professionals, many of whom are recovering from eating disorders themselves, assist the affected individual and their family in developing a lifelong program for recovery.

Upon admission to the program, a complete one-on-one assessment process begins. This process includes: medical and psychological evaluations, nutritional and exercise assessments, and eating disorder-specific evaluations and laboratory work ups.

From these evaluations, a comprehensive individualized treatment plan is developed which sets the path for the specific direction of the treatment.  At Rader Programs we focus on the special needs of each individual and we are entirely dedicated to helping individuals achieve recovery.  The treatment team meets weekly to discuss and update each individual's treatment plan. We believe the individual is an integral part of the treatment team, and is included in setting and redirecting the treatment process.

Rader Programs utilizes a highly effective multi-disciplinary approach in treating eating disorders.  As a result, individuals learn to love and respect themselves and succeed in forming positive relationships with family members.

Rader Programs treatment is covered by most health insurance plans.
